Welcome! It is not necessary to book a separate consultation in addition to treatment time. Each appointment is flexible and includes ample consultation time. Of course, if you are unsure and would like some time to think your options over before proceeding, you are more than welcome to book in for a no obligation consultation.

A thorough consultation is conducted prior to treatment to ensure suitability. The treatment then begins with a deep cleanse and exfoliation powered by glycolic and salicylic acids to remove dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. This is followed by a gentle mandelic acid peel to loosen debris without irritation. Next, painless extractions clear clogged pores and impurities using vacuum-like suction, and the treatment finishes with hydrating serums infused with antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid to replenish moisture and leave the skin smooth, refreshed, and glowing. The treatment can be customised or boosted or upgraded with an array of add-ons. Please see the costs tab for options.

Whilst clients will see immediate improvement after each HydraFacial treatment, regular monthly treatments are recommended to maintain and enhance results. For acne or problematic skin, an initial course of fortnightly treatments may be recommended.

HydraFacials are perfect pre-event to give the skin an instant hydrated, smooth and healthy glow with little downtime. Skin in the treated area may be slightly red and mildly swollen for 1-24 hours post treatment.

The HydraFacial is considered a very low risk and safe treatment. None the less, as with any skin procedure, this treatment may present rare, but possible side-effects. These are discussed in detail during consultation and include the possibility of sensitivity, broken capillaries or allergic reaction.

It is preferable you attend your appointment make-up free. If this is not possible, makeup in the targeted areas will be removed by our practitioners prior to treatment. It is also recommended that sun exposure, fake tanning, hair removal and active ingredients (such as retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide etc) are avoided in the treatment area for 7 days prior.

Unlike most skin treatments, the HydraFacial has very little after care. For best results avoid active skin care ingredients, waxing in the same area or direct sunlight for 3-7 days.

The HydraFacial is not recommended for individuals with open wounds, active infections, psoriasis, rosacea or dermatitis in the treatment area or those with a shellfish or aspirin allergy. Some of the ingredients are also contraindicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women, however the treatment can be modified for these clients.
